JASSASS is a techno DJ and producer known for his raw, unfiltered emotion and artistry. His hard, dark, and heavy industrial sound reflects his past experiences of discrimination and racism. Growing up, JASSASS faced many challenges due to his background, however, he found solace in music, turning to techno to express his inner anguish and pain. Through his music, he has been able to channel his emotions and use it as a form of therapy and a voice to stand against injustice.

JASSASS' unique style is a reflection of his personal experiences and struggles. He blends hard-hitting beats, distorted synths, and atmospheric soundscapes to transport the listener to another realm, creating an intense and immersive experience. His music is a testament to the power of music as a form of self-expression and a means of overcoming adversity.
Breaking Barriers is a cathartic concept EP that weaves together cinematic textures, experimental sounds, industrial techno, and raw emotions to inspire action against injustice and racism. Through its thought-provoking tracks, the EP delves into the struggles faced by refugees and their fight for a better future. It takes listeners on a poignant emotional and mental journey that explores the difficulties of leaving everything behind, coping with homelessness and loss of identity, and the power of resilience and determination.

Each track is a vivid flashback to a particular experience, spanning a decade-long journey that encompasses close brushes with death and moments of liberation, all culminating in the creation of this EP that encapsulates the struggles of this journey. With vivid floating flashbacks of world cruelty and the often disappointing realities of the world, the noise that speaks the mind encourages listeners to confront these conflicts head-on.

In Fallen into Reality, which speaks to the universal human experience of grappling with the gap between our hopes and expectations, a sense of raw intensity from inside of your heart, shouting out pads with a sense of urgency and desperation.

I wish that "Mist Duck" would have alternate lyrics, maybe something like a description of a beautiful full moon glimmering over a lake, whilst a fluffy brown tabby cat is washing his paws nearby, his motor producing loud purrs. However, Perc made such an absolute killer job (only to be expected!) with this remix that it's become a guilty pleasure.
